Born in Imo State, Nigeria, Alex Okoroigwe, widely recognized as Alex O, an accomplished Nigerian artist, excels as a pop musician, singer, songwriter, music producer, and film, graphic, and animation producer. After completing his education in Imo State, he ventured into film and animation studies in South Africa. Guided by Uncle Steve Rhodes, he started his career in the 1990s, eventually signing with PolyGram Records in 1988. His hit "Celebrate" made him a disco sensation in the 1990s, earning recognition from media and artists like Faze. He's married to renowned actress and producer Oby Edozie.
